Country: South Sudan.
In 2009, the Comboni missionaries in South Sudan developed an informal school in Tali “below the plants” which eventually was then built with cement and was officially inaugurated with the name Comboni Primary School. In 2011, the school took another step forward when they assigned 7 young teachers.
In the beginning, the school was composed by malnourished children. Thus, Guardavanti and other missionaries ensured food for these kids during the period of execution of the project.
The parish of Tali
The parish of Tali was abandoned for more than 50 years due to a civil war, and when this project started, and the missionaries built the school, many children were malnourished.
